One squad per Friday night. Squads limited to 12 teams each week.
*This tournament will NOT be a USBC certified event but will follow general playing rules of the USBC. Any situation which occurs and is not covered by the rules listed below will be at the discretion of the tournament committee.
- Eligibility
- The tournament will be open to any adult bowler with a verifiable average within the past two (2) seasons, 2023-2024 or 2024-2025. Youth bowlers will not be eligible.
- Format
- This is a three (3) person team tournament using the Baker team format.
- This will be a handicapped tournament. (See Rule 4)
- Teams will bowl 12 Baker games with the following format:
- Teams are assigned a starting lane where they will bowl (2) two games. They will flip to the other lane on that pair for (2) two additional games. Teams then move to a second pair for (4) four additional games. The final (4) four games will be bowled after a final move to a third pair.
- Entry Fees
- Team entry fee will be $90 per team broken down as follows:
- Bowling Fee: $20 Build-A-Game Prize: $10 Main Prizes: $60
- The main Prize fund will pay one (1) team for every four (4) teams entered
- The Build-A-Game Prize will pay one (1) team for every eight (8) teams entered. (See Rule 5)
- Team entry fee will be $90 per team broken down as follows:
- Handicap / Averages
- Team handicap will be 80% of 660 and calculated as follows:
- Total all 3 bowlers averages and divide by three, then multiplied by 80% for per game handicap.
- Teams with averages above 660 will bowl scratch with no give back.
- Bowlers will use their highest USBC book average of 21 games or more from either the 2023-2024 or 2024-2025 season.
- Bowlers with only a USBC Challenge or USBC Sport average will use the USBC adjustment chart to calculate entering average.
- String Pin averages will not be accepted for this tournament.
- Bowlers with no verifiable average over past two seasons will use 220.
- There is no 10-pin adjustment rule for this event.
- The tournament committee has the right to adjust any participants’ average upward prior to bowling.
- Team handicap will be 80% of 660 and calculated as follows:
- Build-A-Game Prize
- Along with the main prize structure, there will be an added way to cash included with the team entry called Build-A-Game.
- Teams will use the results of their 10th frames to accumulate an added game score for this added way to cash.
- The 10th frame result of Game 1 with be used as Frame 1 for the Build-A-Game. The result of Game 2 is used for Frame 2 and so on.
- If teams spare in the 10th frame of game 10, they will use Game 11 for the Build-A-Game fill ball.
- If teams strike in the 10th frame of game 10, they will use Game 11 for the second ball of the Build-A-Game 10th frame.
- If teams strike in the 10th frame of games 10 and 11, they will use Game 12 for the fill ball of their Build-A-Game score.
- There will be a frame by frame scoresheet on each teams recap to record the Build-A-Game results.
- These frames will be verified by tournament staff.
- Optional Prizes
- There will be two side action items available on site for $20 per bowler / $60 per team:
- 300 Game Jackpot:
- A perfect game jackpot for any team bowling a 300 game during their twelve (12) games. The pot will accumulate throughout the tournament and will be split evenly if multiple 300 games are bowled.
- High Series Jackpot:
- Teams will drop their lowest game on each pair to create three series of three games each. Each block of three will have a prize fund and will include handicap.
